English, Hindi, Arabic,Persian, Urdu,Tamil.... want to learn:french, latin, greek, spanish, thai, chinese, japensese, and BRITISH....
I'm the only one who can speak the least languages eh? I'm fluent in Turkish and English. And I'm learning German.
Can read and write in English, Khmer and Vietnamese, with proficiency levels in that order. I can speak quite fluently Thai and Teo Chew (a Chinese Dialect). Then I can understand Cantonese, Mandarin and Surin (a dialect which kind of mashes up Khmer and Thai... but not really..). With the last three I can merely understand what is being said, but as far as speaking goes, one or two word responses as well as formalities is as far as I've gotten. I supose I should explain... I grew up in a multilingual household (father speaking Khmer, Vietnamese, Teo Chew, Thai and Mandarin while my mother spoke Khmer, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Thai and Surin), and my paternal grandfather refused to speak anything but Vietnamese to me, and my maternal grandfather would not speak anything but Khmer (despite both being multilingual, so very little conversation went on between the two), so those were the languages I learnt to become proficient in. Grandmothers were more lenient and spoke to me in whatever language they was most appropriate. Then when I was younger (2 or 3 til I was around 10) I'd help out my aunty in her asian supermarket - actually she babysat me - and the customers would speak all sorts of languages, so I learned pretty quickly to understand what was being said.. =) On a slightly different note, I'd like to learn Latin, just for a change, but i don't see it happening anytime soon.
I took German and Spanish at the same time, so I don't know either language, just a fusion of the 2. Que piches das ist blood?!?!
Yo hablo espanol ecuatoriano de nacimiento (I speak Spanish with an Ecuadorian dialect since I was born). My second language is English with an Spanish accent, et ma troisieme langue est le francais(and my third language is French).
