Since we have a "Best Album of 2005" thread, i'd figured we have one that's completely opposite!

So...what is the album you can't stand that has come out in 2005?

Definitely The Massacre by 50 Cent.

Being a hip hop head, I can't stand his tone and his flows suck.

    50 Cent - The Massacre

Ski Mask Way, Baltimore Love Thing, I'm Supposed To Die Tonight, and the remix of Hate It Or Love It are the only songs I can listen on that album.

The year isn't even half-over...but I'll give this a shot.

    Rock

Adema - Planets. Undeninably rushed and incomplete sounding. This album lacks any feeling or flavor whatsoever. The new singer provided promise and hope, but this album proved that these guys need more time in the oven. I really had high hopes for this cd, especially after hearing a clip of the new singer's voice...but as I stated, they need more time to "cook".
    Bland, uninspired and forgettable.

    Rap

50 Cent - The Massacre. I've been into hip hop all my life and I can appreciate all genres and aspects. I love Sage. I love Del. I love Jedi. But I also love Dre, Lost Boyz, Kurupt, Royce and Game. I can see why people love 50 Cent. The production is clean, the beats are bangin and he usually can flow rather well. Unfortunately he's too cocky for his own good. The subject matter is always the same, the lyrics are contiusouly poorer and poorer and on The Massacre, 50 doesn't do Storch or Dre any justice. Candy Shop is one of the worst rap singles I have ever heard, accompanied by Disco Inferno...I don't know which is worse. Ironically, one of the best songs on the album is the song that made me decide once and for all that I hate this man: Piggy Bank. I won't get into that story, it's played out- but Banks does a nice job on the Hate It or Love It remix.
I guess I can only listen to someone boast about their album sales and hoe connections for so long. I'd definately take Game over this any day. Just my opinion though.

    I actually love The Massacre :( :p

I still haven't heard an album this year that i haven't liked. Unless its from an artist that i don't like from the start.

Yeah, I've been fairly pleased with most of the releases from this year so far.

    Nine Inch Nails
    Beck
    The Mars Volta
    The Game
    Garbage
    Reel Big Fish
    Sage Francis
    Gorillaz
    Queens of the Stone Age
    TRUSTcompany

And new songs from 30 Seconds to Mars, System of a Down, Weezer and Limp Bizkit have been very, very awesome.

Sorry if I mentioned the same thing as everyone else, but I guess I don't have much to complain about this year in music. It's a good feeling.

The worst new album I've listened to this year is 'Human After All' by Daft Punk, but I still thought it was decent.

50 Cent - The Massacre was a sweet album, what are you guys on? You guys purchased or downloaded the CD expecting complex and deep lyrics, you deserve to be dissapointed. I don't know very many, if any, mainstream rap artists that do put out very deep meaning songs/albums.

Considering every track was different than the next beatwise, and each one made me bob my head, I say the album was tight. "Hate it or Love it - remix" was sweet, as were most of the songs. There's many different kinds of music...some that's supposed to leave you touched by the lyrics...and others where you're not supposed to think too much. I enjoyed this album.
