Yo people i have a question. Are there Demo's of Don't Stay Somewhere I Belong Lying From You Hit The Floor Easier To Run Faint Figure.09 Breaking The Habit From The Inside Nobody's Listening Session Numb The Wizard Song If they are, what are the names then? XVZ
None exist in our hands, but we do know some demo names. Don't Stay was Sick. Faint and Figure.09 and Session kept the same names from working titles, and Breaking The Habit was originally an instrumental interlude, only 2 minutes long. It was then later called Drawing, and then BTH.
It would have been cool, though, if we could have actually been able to listen to demos of these songs. But I would like to ask the thread starter...why The Wizard Song? You don't think that they actually professionally recorded that in a studio seriously, do you? That was a joke song that Chester wrote for the fun of it. There's probably only one version of that song that you can ever listen to and that's on The Making of Meteora DVD that comes with the Limited Edition of Meteora.
Yeah that was in the song info in the cd booklet, I remember those working titles. Too bad demos for Meteora don't float around as freely as the HT ones but someone close to the band probably has some.
I was browsing around and I did find out that there are 2 "demo's" on Meteora's B-Side. They are Shifter and Nocturnal and to this day they are unreleased. So there are 2, but just not around to get.
Hate to tell you this, but Mike has confirmed that ALL Meteora demos have been destroyed. And all your research are belong to us.
ok...well...that wasn't found here...it was found at a completely different site that is updated...so i read what i read
I hate to say but not all LP sites are reliable. Case in point: One site says that Breaking The Habit was written by Mike FOR Chester.
^ Minus is right. Not all sites are correct. People just start rumors, as always, and everyone believes them. As unbelievable as it sounds, Linkin Park Association is a fan site and could be saying lies. But I highly doubt that because Linkin Park Association is the only fan site I know with like the most up to date correct information. Don't trust other sites that aren't well known unless they verify their information somehow.
THERE ARE NO RELEASED DEMOS OF METEORA OUT. Yes, there was Sick and Shifter, but I don't think Linkin Park would expect people to want to here the demos anyway since the album songs are the demos made better.
