In a recent press release, it was revealed that Mike Shinoda's hip-hop side project he's releasing under the pseudonym Fort Minor, titled "The Rising Tied", will be fourteen tracks long. Confirmed songtitles are "Remember The Name", "Right Now", "Petrified", "Where'd You Go?", and "Believe Me". "Remember The Name" is set to be the albums first single, which will be released in late summer 2005. Read the full press release here.
No filler, no interludes/skits. Id rather have 14 and not 20 tracks because that would def mean some filler.
It probably will be longer than Meteora because Mike Shinoda's solo song are longer than an average Linkin Park song
i hope it will be way longer than meteora. Meteora was ridiculously short in length. Im expecting around 50mins.
What they don't tell you is that 'Remember The Name' is about remembering the names of the cars, hoes, and the faces of cash. Great news.
i personally can't wait. But what if it's bad. That would really suck, but i'm sure mike will pull through with some amazing work. 14 tracks sounds like a good length. i can't wait for the first single to be released.
this is great news. i cant wait to hear the album now more than ever - i expect it to be a little longer than LP albums so something around 45 to 60 mins long. roll on late summer
As short as LPs records are they are still awesome and have been listened to an uncountable amount of times by me. As long as The Rising Tied is good, I don't care how long it is. Although technically, if it were like 20 minutes I'd be pissed.
