The song is alright, Its good instrumentally, but I mean, the lyrics are lacking...It disappointed me.
Weezer...Weezer Weezer Weezer... One of my best friend's favorite bands. I very much disliked them until about four days ago, when I went to my friend's house and he made me listen to the Blue album. Fucking amazing! Pinkerton isn't that bad either, I don't like it that much but it's listenable. Blue, though, that is music and it makes me happy. Maladroit and Green...yeah I don't like them at all. I don't really like the new songs much either, I was disappointed with Beverly Hills after I had finally discovered the band's greatness in Blue.
Weezer will will never be as good as they were back in the days of the blue album. Pinkerton screwed them up to the point of no recovery. Still though, Hash Pipe is an awseome song! B)
i think that song kicks ass. its catchy the way he kinda sing/raps the lyrics. and the bass beat its awesome.
Pinkerton is amazing(yes my opinion has changed since my last post), you just have to listen to it in the right mood, and to the right songs. Pinkerton is actually my favorite cd right now...especlially Across The Sea...its like the God Weezer song...and the God Weezer album... But yeah, as far as Beverly Hills goes, I really dont like the song at all. The Rivers Cuomo rapping is pretty annoying, and the guitar playing is really obnoxious. I love the video, though, its hilarious. Brian is the man... Anyway, it seems to be about how he would never fit in if he lived in Beverly Hills or another rich community...its something that youre born into...
yeah...the song does really sound like bad rap but its ok i guess. i heard that they stole the pieces of other songs. like the drum beat in the begining.....
