    i am a newish fan 2 likin rock music, could some1 plz tell me a good heavy rock band, apart from slipknot (if they r heavy rock)

    you goota tell us whether you like heavier bands like machine head,mushroomhead etc. or softer stuff like disturbed,dry cell etc

    You might try some Greenday or blink 182. It's sortof more punk rock. Just a suggestion. Oh yea...try some Mars Volta ;) .

    lovehatehero, lostprophets, breaking benjamin, chevelle, payable on death, thousand foot krutch are my mainstream faves.

    my heavier faves are norma jean, as cities burn, mudvayne, haste the day.
