They're in my top three favorite bands. Point #1 was GREAT, the chords were simple yet powerful, the album was quite unique in itself. Wonder What's Next was mediocre, but This Type of Thinking kept me interested with its crunching guitars and catchy rhythms. They've definately progressed alot as a band, and the fact that they're from Chicago just makes them that much better.
Awesome lyrics, awesome sound, just need to work on variety. The Clincher is one of my favorite songs ever.
I love Chevelle. Point #1 was excellent. Wonder What's Next had a few good songs. This Type of Thinking was also excellent. Definitely one of the best bands out there.
Chevelle are a great band. Fav songs would be 'Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)' and 'Send The Pain Below'. Does anyone know why Chevelle named the first song i mentioned? I don't know too much about Chevelle; don't own any of their albums, and i've only heard around 10 of their songs. Does anybody else think that there's a religious undertone to their music?
I've read some comments on 'Grab Thy Hand' being Christian-ish and stuff. Some people say they're a Christian band ... but I dunno. Simply love Chevelle. This Type of Thinking is excellent, not something you'd get tired of listening. Just recently ordered Wonder What's Next (yeah, I had to order it, imagine that ), and I'm hooked on to Family System and One Lonely Visitor. I think both songs are great. I've yet to hear Point #1, though.

There's a guy in my bus who looks lots like the singer of Chevelle. I like Chevelle yeah. But I don't need to listen to it for a long time, then I'll go paranoia.
i think "The Clincher" is actually about the Crucifixion, despite the singer tries to say it's about claustrophobia. I think the song is about both, because he's saying how he would be claustrophobic if he were to be buried alive like Jesus. That's just my interp, though.

Yes the guys of chevelle do have christian beliefs and all, not that that makes you a christian band. But alot of their material has their beliefs in it, which to me makes them a christian band. But yah around here if you go into most christina bookstores that sell cd's they will have Chevelles cd.
I've bought [shocking, ain't it?] "This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In)" and I think it's amazing. I also downloaded "Wonder What's Next", amazing. My favourite song would probably be "Forfeit".
