Definatly Eminem. That voice just rocks :) plus I find that his lyrics are a lot more meaningful.

I agree with you. Eminem is a good hip-hop artist, but he is extremely controversial. It would probably ruin Linkin Park's reputation as a band who doesn't really go into controversial issues.

I think a hip-hop artist who would have probably worked well with Linkin Park on a mash-up album could probably have been...

Now that I think of it, Snoop Dogg is probably one of the only good candidates. Now, I haven't heard many of his songs, so my opinion could be changed later. But when I think of other artists, such as 50 Cent, Terror Squad, D12, and more, a lot of them contain more sexual innuendo. Snoop Dogg probably does this too, but if he does songs like Drop It Like It's Hot, which doesn't contain much sexual innuendo, he would work well with Linkin Park. He also went with them on tour, so they would have been more familiar with how each artists works and does things when performing live and all of that.

But Jay-Z seems to be perfect. Half, or even less than half of his songs (on Collision Course) contain sexual innuendo or violence, really.

So, personally, Jay-Z was the real deal. And a lot of other artists, might have worked out. But let's just be proud of the accomplishment that Jay-Z and Linkin Park pulled off...with MTV.

Sage Francis. I think Slow Down, Ghandi would have sounded great with Points Of Authority.

i dont think they should do any more mashups with any of those loosers, they should simply pull their hands out of each others asses and make a new album.

to me all hip hop seems to be about is sex, drugs, guns, and having lots of money. in short, i think they are all a bunch of pimps.
and i dont think lp should associate with hip hop, the only rap i like is mikes!

metal/punk and rock is the real music, unlike that manufactured shit,

so if all you pimps think your all the daddy and you think you run everything,
    think again
    im your worst nightmare...

Go research rap and hi-hop before you hate on it.

It's not all pimps and hoes...

Look up Sage Francis, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, and more underground stuff in general.

Don't hate on a genre that you don't know fully about.

And I'm sure this will piss you off, MIKE'S WORKING ON A HI-HOP ALBUM!!!

yeah it does annoy me because its another thing released instead of a studio album,

right now lp have more things released on the side than studio albums,

im kind of getting the message that pigs will fly before lp make a new studio album.

mike should have chose a better time to make a solo album, say when they have more albums under their belts, then i would approve of it.

whats gonna be next? a chester bennington solo album

Yeh i think Snoop Dogg would be good. For those of u who own Limp Bizkit's Results May Vary will know the track Red Light-Green Light sees Snoop Dogg and Durst create a great hip-hop tune. So I think Linkin Park would do with him as they have already toured with him (Project Revolution '04)

I say Eminem since he's my favorite and he has some songs that would work well with LP's stuff.

    I agree.

Common would be pretty sick too. Although..weird, I must say.

Jester- you should call up LP and tell them you don't approve of their side albums. As of right now they think you're okay with them, but when they find out you don't, I'm sure they'll put out a few new albums right away.

Stop being a closeminded prick. Thank you.

i think that for talanted musicians such as LP mash-ups are not so bad.i even should say that they should make mash-ups but only as long as they like the people they record with, any other efforts would be only for money which usually has bad results on the music itself.
so i think that if they like rappers like snoop dog, dmx, p.diddy, busta rymes and other musicians like incubus, jurassic 5, that would be great. :mike:

EMinem, or Kanye West would be my two top ones. I like alot of rap but those two and Jayz are the only rappers i would actually like to see LP work with.
