    Deep Thoughts of Nothing

    Peace or life?
    Love and hate?
    Do or die?
    Contemplating the reasons, but why,
    Why don't we try?
Try the first, forget the latter?
So much easier to climb a ladder
When there is no other latter.
    Here today, gone tomorrow?
    Today's today, tomorrow's a bother.
Our thoughts are deep, screaming out,
    Yet so silent, we try.
Try the first, forget the latter?
Forget the first, we take the latter.

    Nice

alot of using the word 'latter' normally that would put me off,but i think it worked well in this one.

is it seriously copywrited?i want to copywrite my songs but its something like £15 :(

yer i agree about the word latter, it worked well in this poem. Anyway, great work, interesting. I don't think your best but still very good. Keep it up.

I doubt it's proply copyrighted, just something to scare off people from stealing it.

Well, I won some recognition for it and that was cool. You have to read between the lines. It's not one of those poems that you "just read". It's actually a very deep poem and you seriously have to know where it comes from in order to understand it, ya know? Most people who haven't "been there" don't understand what the heck it means. But those who have, it just comes to them.

this is pretty good stuff. the rhythm of it was good and it flowed well. i can see how this is a poem that has to br read in between the lines.
    very clever!
