I was about to post an update on Story of the Year. I guess I'll post in here rather than making a separate thread. Story of the Year's new album, In The Wake of Determination, is being readied for an October 11th release on Maverick Records. The album is heavier and more guitar driven than their previous album, Page Avenue. This effort was produced by Steve Evetts (The Cure, Saves The Day, Hatebreed).
Good song. The beginning guitars remind me of Chevelle. And the bridge reminds me of Breaking Benjamin.
I can't wait, one of the few bands in the whole punk/emo scene (or whatever you want to call it) I can stand.
That sounds pretty good. I hope the rest of the album is more like "The Heart of Polka is Still Beating," though.

I don't like it compared to their old stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's still an awesome song. But it seems like this song went soft.
