According to an update on Amir Derakh's official website, Derakh and bandmate Ryan Shuck of 'Orgy' have confirmed producing a solo venture for Linkin Park's Chester Bennington. Derakh says "we are planning on finishing Chester's album...within the year, so if all goes as planned [the album] should be released early next year". At this point, there has been no official confirmation by Bennington or Linkin Park. Thanks to Sean
Cool, hopefully it will get done early, Linkin Park should be done with Warner Bros. and we can finnaly get on too Linkin Park being good old Linkin Park..........i hope.
Hi, been sometime since I have posted, but this is good news. A Chester and Mike solo album, this is a dream come true, hopefuly LP have been putting together songs so when they finally close the WB case they will be ready to go to the studio and put the fineshing touches on the album. I doubt Joe, Phoenix, Rob, and Brad are sitting idle watching Mike and Chaz do music, they probably have some good riffs cooked up.
what the guys need to handle is too end the contract with WB, and now mike and chester both release a solo album, this can definitely help them end the contract, after it, they can work on a new lp studio album!!
Not me. I'm all for these solo albums, I think they have the potential to be greater than the latest LP albums.
yeah your probably right.... If both these albums turn out pretty good.....Im looking foreward to how they affect the next LP album
Boohoo. This is actually a miracle. I wanna see what these guys can pull off, what they can do without a band by them at all times. An album will come soon so stop whining. You should be happy because if Chester does do this solo album, they're off from Warner Bros.

I'm clearly sure that's soon... don't you agree?

I just want to point something out, cause I think you guys have got some things wrong. The WB contract is with LP, not the individual members. This may be a loophole the guys are trying to pull with solo cds, but the contract states 7 releases under the Linkin Park banner, likely not counting Hybrid Theory.
This will be really sweet to have two solo's from Linkin Park. I would have to say though that Mikes will do better because he is getting the rock and rap crowd.
