lostprophets version of justin timberlakes cry me a river. now thats a tune!

i dont know if this is classed as a cover but lupe fiasco used a gorillaz sample from their new album (the song 'kids with guns') and it sounds ace... that would be my number two choice i think

    http://www.myspace.com/lupefiasco

its called 'heat under the baby seat'

    It's not a cover, it's a sample.

Hence why it's called using a sample.

Song: Who Wants to Live Forever
    Original: Queen
    Cover: Breaking Benjamin
Reason: Ben Burnley's voice sounds ace on this cover, it's really really great.

    Song: Nutshell
    Original: Alice in Chains
    Cover: Staind
Reason: Staind is probably the perfect band to be covering this song and they did.

    Song: Thoughtless
    Original: Korn
    Cover: Evanescence
Reason: I love the melody that Evanescence added to this.

    Song: Jack the Ripper
    Original: Morrissey
    Cover: My Chemical Romance
Reason: I don't really know. I love this song.

    Song: You Know You're Right
    Original: Nirvana
    Cover: Seether
Reason: I always said Shaun sounds like Kurt Cobain. I was right.

    Song: Tom Sawyer
    Original: Rush
    Cover: Mindless Self Indulgence
Reason: This cover is so energetic. I love MSI.

haha that's not Rammstein, it's Ome Henk
He's some strange Dutch dude who makes all kinds of covers and other funny songs. The language isn't German, it's Dutch. :)

By the way, i'm new to the forum so hello! My name is Wiard, I'm from Holland and I'm a huge fan of Linkin Park! :chaz:

Essentially all of A Perfect Circle's eMOTIVe album.

Also, Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt was very good.

I'm not really a fan of covers...but I do like The Postal Service's cover of "Against All Odds", originally a Phil Collins song.
