i think most people support eagles because they were one of the teams that made it to the superbowl. like lots of people started to support liverpool after they won the champions league
And I'm talking about the Canadian version of American football. If it weren't for us, you never would've had Jeff Garcia and Raghib Ismail. EDIT: For you curious americans out there... Differences between Canadian Football and American Football. NFL-100 yards between endzones. Endzones 10 yards long. CFL-110 yards between endzones. Endzones 20 yards long. NFL-11 players on the field. 4 defensive backs and 3 receivers.(Standard form.) CFL-12 players on the field. 5 defensive backs and 4 recievers. No tight ends. NFL-Field is 50 yards wide. CFL-Field is 65 yards wide. NFL-Fair Catch Rule. CFL-No fair catch rule, but on punt/kick returns, must give the returner 5 yards in space when he recieves the ball. If he picks up the ball off ground with a defender within 5 yards of him, a 5 yard penalty to the kicking team. if returner catches the ball with a defender within 5 yards, 15 yard penalty to the kicking team. NFL-4 downs. CFL-3 downs. NFL-Touchbacks. CFL-If the punter kicks a ball through the opponent's endzone, the punter's team recieves one point. The reciever's team gets the ball at their 35 yard line. NFL-TOD on a missed Field Goal. CFL-One point if the kicker kicks the ball wide of the uprights, but through the back of the endzone. NFL-Goalposts at back of endzone. CFL-Goalposts at front of endzone, meaning that returners can return missed field goals out of the endzone.' NFL-Sudden Death overtime. CFL-Teams play a "minigame"-each team recieves the ball at the opponent's 35 yard line. whoever scores more points in their minigame wins. If still tied after 2 minigames, the game is called a tie (i think ). Yes, I'm bored.
Typical Americans. [/b][/quote] i aint american im english, i just like eagles and in english football ARSENAL RULE!!
I think the CFL game is better, there's a bigger field. To me, the NFL seems so boring. Like, when teams win 3-0. With the CFL, it's really wide open. Some of the "best" DBs in the NFL probably couldn't do jackshit in the CFL.
Well, we can bet, but do you really think the "best" DBs in the NFL would settle for the CFL? And the CFL game IS better, you probably haven't seen one.
