What happened to the days when people just smiled and were grateful for impersonation instead of sueing everyone's ass off.
bleh, another bullshit lawsuit, i hope this one just gets thrown out and the judge laughs at them for being such babies. i love their commercials and to be honest, as soon as i saw them, i thought to myself "oh shit, i wonder what slipknot will think", because unless it was JUST a rumor, I read that this is why Cory Taylor hates Mushroomhead, is because "they copied slipknot" .... get over it you f'n whiners, plenty of bands use masks, not everyone wants to BE slipknot and even if they were dressing to imitate, take LD50's advice and just smile, lol [/rant]
Someone should tell GWAR that nine morons have been stealing their act for years. ------------- Nice title, LJ. Oh and I don't think Corey Taylor realizes Mushroomhead were around long before Slipknot.
Well, I think Slipknot is more known to the mass public than say Mushroomhead. Anyway, I saw this commercial and when I saw it, it did remind me of Slipknot. But I knew it wasn't them because the guys in the commercial acted like complete jackasses. And they're suing because this could cause them to lose some fans that think they're ''selling out''. So I can see why they would do this.

There is a typo in the letter. "The Campaign includes advertising that is currently airing on SpikeTV, MTC, and VH-1" EDIT: Unless I'm an idiot. Which is always a possibility.
Too bad the band on the Burger King commercial ("Coq Roq") sounds better than Slipknot, if you ask me.
Okay. Burger King certainly wants a generic version of you, Slipknot. Yeah. Right. One thing I don't understand: What kind of sensible business would want the image and persona of a band that's lyrics include "I want to slit your throat and fuck the wound." That's not exactly the most appetizing band. I certainly wouldn't want to eat food that has the horrific image of those people on the container.
I think the band sounds pretty good as well. I know a lot of people hate them though. [/b][/quote] I think if their lyrics weren't so cheesy and actually included "Chicken Fries" in them that I'd buy one of their CD's, if they had any.

I just checked out their site, and they do have a few songs, but they're all like a minute and extremely cheesy (and relating to BK). Oh well.
