I'm not reading anything right now but I bought a box-set featuring three books: As I Lay Dying, The Sound and the Fury and Light in August by William Faulkner. I'm going to start reading As I Lay Dying when I go back home.
i need a book to read....i just finished 'Speak' by Laurie Halse Anderson....i'm thinking about starting the manga, 'Princess Ai'...i like stories about teens with problems. so if anyone knows a really good manga or book, let me know. thanks
I haven't read anything yet, except for Science Power 10, and that is soo fucking interesting... I don't have time for much reading anymore, sadly. But I read when I get a chance, especially if it's a really good book.
Did you get those for fun, or for school? [/b][/quote] I got them for fun. What can I say? I like to read.
Right now I'm reading "The Bourne Ultimatum", in its original English version, and the Icarius Agenda (French translation), both by the master of political fictions, Robert Ludlum !
I'm reading The Practice Of Business Statistics: Using Data For Decisions. Costed $120 and it wasn't worth one cent. Thanks ISU book store!
I totally know how that is! Texts are such a rip off. but I got a really really REALLY good deal on my journalism book. It is supposed to be $60 used....I got it for $3 that's right, $3!!!!!!!!
My Gen Chem, Gen Bio, Gen Psych, & An Irish history text. + " The Empire Strikes Back" and Dan Browns " Deciption Point" for fun. Unfortinatly it's mostly the first four I get to read not the second two.
you get second hand books out here for about a dollar...less sometimes... i'm not reading anything, so i need to know which book is worth reading...a nice fat novel to last a week...
If you like fantasy novels and want some fat books read The Chroicles of Thomas Covenant. Great series of books
The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton, I was supposed to read the first chapter for school and couldn't put the it down! Amazing.
