Is it true that Chester isn't able to scream anymore? Because if it is, I'd rejoice. He's got such great singing, and we rarely ever get to hear it amidst Mike's raps.
He does seem to have lost some of that aggressive growl in his voice, but overall his voice has matured a lot more and he seems to have better vocal range now.
Lost some agressive growl? Even though it was a year ago when it was recorded, the Wish cover from projekt revo. 04 completly trashes your theory
Chester can still very well scream, its just the melodic portion of his voice has grown very strong..due to the fact that the stuff he's working on right now (solo album) is more along the lines of Depeche Mode which calls for him to sing more then scream. Therefore, we should by default expect to see more singing than screaming, cause Depeche Mode aren't "metal".

He can still scream, but I'm talking more about his actual singing voice lightening up a bit.
well for me chaz is really a professional singer...I mean he can adjust to whatever song he will sing whether it is melodic or screaming..... and he has really a nice voice...esp in CRAWLING.. not the chorus part..."there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface" wow that line was so awesome...I like so much the voice of chaz in that line... camille
Chester has definetly not lost his screaming touch, wait and see when Linkin Park's new album comes out. I can almost guarantee you there will be screaming, afterall, that's what LP is all about. Combining Rap and Rock/Metal together.

What r u talkin about? Anyway i hope his songs on his new album arent all slow...I would hope he'd embrace his true rocker style, loose from the chains of lp for a while...
Nah, it seems the same to me. Like someone above mentioned. On Wish if he can still scream for 15 seconds straight I am sure he is ok. But I noticed while listening to some of the bootlegs from 2000 his scream was more agressive I guess. But still it is still awesome either way.
" there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface" Is it Mike's part or chaz part????? But in the video it was chaz who face in mirror...and says" confusing, consuming"? is it...I think it was chaz... Is it?
Home Sweet Home is a song for charity, and if you scream your lungs out like a black-metal singer..that doesnt sound right. that was mikes part. [/quote] Yeah, you know Crawling like your backpocket. [/sarcasm]
WTF are you talking about!!!!Chester can scream he will never lose that abillity!but there's a thing, to scream like that you got to be overfull with tension, anger and pain. He's just that type of person, like me.
