ok we all know what some of the changes are. but what i dont know is why. - with you, chester screams at the start of the song. what i dont understand about this is why he started doing before it came out on the reanimation version of the song. - one step closer, extended verse. i can understand this as it was in the reanimation version, but why do they sing it live? to make the song longer?? me, personally, think these live changes make it sound even better.
Most likely possibility is that the reason Reanimation had the screaming was because he started doing it. I fully expect tasta to correct me though!

[/b][/quote] I wasn't gonna post in this but you called me out. The band changes up stuff on songs live just to keep things fresh. I'm sure they get bored playing the same thing every tour. One Step Closer is longer and sounds better with the Reanimation part in it, and it lets them pump the crowd up more. All the intros and additions to songs are probably just things they come up with during rehearsals. Chester's been doing the scream at the start of With You live since the very beginning, before Hybrid Theory even came out. They probably added it on Reanimation as an afterthought.
Yeah, and recently after Meteora's Faint came out, Chester let's the crowd yell ''I won't be ignored'' near the end, after the screaming part. He used to, but he now let's the crowd.
