    that's true
most of my friends who don't listen to lp know only these two songs [/b][/quote]
Yes, my friends only know ITE and Numb, and only some know Crawling and OSC too... I think they know only these 2 songs because they were the most successful and overplayed ones...

I would say In the End, Crawling, and Numb are the core songs because most people know them. It's kinda funny though not many hardcore LP fans would call those songs their favorites maybe top 5 but not #1.

    EDIT: Spelling

I think either Faint or Breaking The Habit are the most famous.

    In the End

Although I grew sick of it after hearing it on the radio so much, it's really the escence of what LP is, rock and rap.

I'm just taking a guess but I think right now, it would have to be Breaking the Habbit.

In The End is their core song in my opinion. If some people didn't know who LP was after OSC and Crawling, they did after ItE.

Also with the dropping of tracks at concerts, I would say like:
A Place for My Head (Mike cannot say "acting like I owe you this")
Don't Stay (Only good live one I heard was in Texas)
With You (Music is off everytime I hear it live)

In The End for sure. EVERYBODY knows that song, even people who hate rock. Plus it has a perfect blend of techno, rock, rap, and quiet piano/strings. Everything people love about Linkin Park blended into one, amazing, package.
