I liked the role he played in "Be Cool", but that's about it.

Making a movie on Halo is enough. Why one on Doom? [/b][/quote]
Halo isn't even started yet. Doom is coming out soon. Doom was waaayyy first.

FPM : First person movie = absolutely ridiculous.

Anyone ever been on those 'rides' at amusement parks where you sit in a chair that moves and they have something playing on a big screen that the chair moves accordingly to the actions on the screen? Yeah, those got old real fast, like 1/2 way through the first ride.

Doom looks like one of those rides minus the chair, ie. complete crap.

I love The Rock and I will see this movie on opening day. I know it will be bad but I don't care. The only thing that will probably kill the movie for me is if the first-person view (chainsaw in preview). Reminds me too much of a video game and if the effects look like a videogame, that would be just terrible. So if it's anything like House Of The Dead, in that category, I will hate it.

From what I heard, the first person part will only be 6 mins, toward the end of the movie. But judging from a lot of people's reactions that's 6 minutes too long. lol.

    doom was a thriller.

i hope they get the thrill part right...cuz,thats what doom is about.

scaring your pants off as you fight off a horde of hideous and well-armed army of the damned on a pitch black room...with only a flashlight and a rifle to combat the monsters.

now that would be the bomb.

I think it should be more like Doom and Doom 2 rather than Doom 3.

    But that's just me.

Yeah, the thing has been getting bad reviews, and some of the lines I hear in the previews just SUCK.

The previews do make the movie look like trash. If The Rock wasn't in it I wouldn't see it in the theaters. He'll probably have a lot of cliche and dumb lines and really cheesy scenes but oh well..

If this film didn't have The Rock in it, it would be worth a watch. Seems as though i'm one of the many who can't stand his acting 'skills' i hate it when people like him get into acting. He just acts like a wrestler :wth: Pulls that stupid face. I'll watch this when it's out on Sky.

I saw it, it's not that good. Almost no relation to the game. The Rock was the only highlight of the movie.

EDIT: If anyone's seen it, what did the skeleton of the woman and child have to do with anything?
