I'm going to have to go with "Dedicated" just because it rocks shit harder than "Step Up." And because the lyrics are way better.
thats a real toughie - i'd go with dedicated though becasue it has some smooth lines in it. however i do like the way step up ends with the scratchin'
Man dedicated is like... dedicated... so yeah.. i like step up too though.. but dedicated is more cinematic i think.
the thing is, they're completely different; "step up" is about how there are rappers everywhere and it's talking about which ones are real and which are just acting, and so forth. "dedicated" is about living and rapping in hard times, when people are left behind. i like "step up" because of it's guitar work, but "dedicated" has a better, more meaningful beat and more of an emotional feel to it and the rapping is ...better..? lol
It's a tough decision, but I think Dedicated wins. Mike's best rhyme is either Dedicated or the original High voltage..
