Phoenix Confirms LP Is Writing New Album

I think it's pretty selfish of Linkin Park not to include a new song or two on LPU5. I mean, if they do that they could satisfy the fans who hates the solo albums coming out.

I think LP needs to be given at least a little bit of credit...

has anyone even thought of the possibility that the LPU 5.0 package was a way for LP to find more charity towards their hurricane for relief fund?
You never know that their reasons are for doing things, and I'm sure that after like 4 years LP isn't going to do something frivolous like that just for the hell of it..

I think (and I really hope) that LP is using the funds from the LPU packages to donate to charity.

If not, I think they just wanted to hold the suspense until the new album is released. Also, who knows, maybe throughout the year, LPU "mini" packs may be shipped out to subscribers where they WILL have exclusive content, new songs etc.

but until then, honestly folks, cool your jets, if you don't think the Package is worth your money or effort, then no one's forcing you to buy it, just know that LP is working their asses off to make music that we love, cuz when it comes down to it, that's all that matters.

p.s. I think this new album is gonna be really different! I'm thinking BTH meets old school LP (the raw, wall of sound)

If i had known better I would've after Reanimation came out cause that was probably the height of my fandom. And that was last good package. I didn't really like the 4.0 tracks.

can't wait till Brad, Bob, Phoenix and Mr. Hahn do they're sideprojects so there will be an other album out in 2009 ...

 

technically Mr. Hahn IS doing a sideproject already, he is directing a couple movies

so looks like Brad, Phoenix and Rob are up next

And I think it's selfish that people always want more and more of Linkin Park. Jeese Mike's just finished a solo project and Chester is doing many other solo projects, where are they gonna find time to write a few new songs and put them on LPU 5?

 

They don't need to write new songs. I'm more than sure that they've got at least 30 unreleased tracks that they can give us.

 

Well they had enough time to write a new song for the new MS Mixtape.

 

My and my mate had thought they were splitting up, but now I see they're not! All I can say is, roll on 2006!
