Dude these both have fucking good potential but no offense intended when I say your vocal work needs improvement. I like both the tunes though, they're awesome and being a huge lover of acoustic melodys I can't help but think this has the potential to be a future hit, I'm serious man well done Dave.
You have a very nice voice. I love the whole thing of the first one, especially the ending line. Just the impact it puts on you makes me fall in love. And in the second one, I especially like when the sudden guitar comes in, and where, I don't know, it just brings up the beat? & I don't know how to give advice so yeah.
Maybe you should distort your voice. That's just one option, or you could practice singing more. You'll get better.

" By My Side " sounds great, you have super great potential, hell, it sounds A LOT better than most songs that have surfaced to be popular these days. o hey, it's dedicated, haha I didn't even notice it was you, but well I would like to add that the songs you've written are always great work.

If you took more time to focus on the vocals, these would sound a bit better. But they are excellent. Nice work, man. EDIT: The second one reminds me of 'Right Now'.
