Of............Constantine. Yes. ..Again. I don't how long this Constantine phase I'm going through will last, but in the meantime I decided to whip out a picture of said dude. Constantine This is a cropped version of the original. And by 'original' I mean the shitty version- which included the guy's ears and majority of his coat. The ears turned out horrendous, [I hate drawing them anyway] so I cropped the picture. Also, the reference picture only showed half of the guy's forehead. So I kinda had to improvise the other half..and, well. You'll see. Uh..it took, like,..forever. Done over the course of four days, actually. Overall I think the mouth is too small, and the right eyebrow is a little weird.. but whatever. I needed to practice anyway. materials used: Reference Photo 4B and 6B pencil kneaded eraser handheld pencil sharpener sketchbook Lots of free time on my hands
overall u did a good job with the lines and shading. I'd say his mouth is a little off and the left collar is in the wrong direction.
that was fantabulous!! (did i spell that right??) its my life's curse to never be able to do potraits, and i envy people who can.............
thanks, all. your comments are mucho appreciated. djhahn - yeah i figured the mouth was a little off, but I think the collar was supposed to look like that, But thanks for the input! grafiTTied: I've only just begun to really craft my drawing techniques, starting with Constantine as practice. But I think a lot of motivation with some inspiration along the way is a great way for anyone to start.
