I should've waited to post the final version to begin with but my band kept tweaking the song so I kept tweaking the lyrics. These are the final lyrics. I've left out any formatting because you don't need to know who's singing what. I have to say that these lyrics came a long way. In the beginning I honestly thought that they were mediocre. But after seeing the finally product, I'm floored. Brilliant job.
Thanks for the comments. We'll probably work on the song some next week but now I don't know. My vocalist's grandmother just died so he's not going to be free at all. It's going to be real rough.
"Anthem of Our Dying Day"? The chorus has almost stayed the same the entire time we've had the song. I really have no inspiration for the song itself. I just kind of wrote it. I tried writing it about things but it never really worked out. Plus every band's got to have a song that makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
