You don't have to be a mod to see who voted for what, lol. And I can't see the trial actually being fair, everyone is to biased right now.

yeah but who is the judge...some iraqi guy right? this trial is in his home country, he has a better chance than he would anywhere else.

    except maybe saudi arabia.

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe a judge/jury member will be flown out from the States. Maybe the judge will have been bought off.

Well, that happens in war. Innocent people get killed and there's no one to blame. Except if you shoot someone on purpose. If you drop a bomb in hostile area and you kill 10 innocent people, thats just the price of a war.

He's obviously guilty, and his trial will be as (un)biased as it gets for someone who's committed more war crimes than Bush for the other side.

Looks like someone didn't get the memo, Will. :p

Saddam wont have a fair trial, because everyone knows he's guilty. His fate was sealed before the trial even started.

i don't think he would take him on anyway...although i guess he wouldn't have to worry about the money.

i know if i was going to represent saddam, he better pay me millions and millions of dollars, cuz after that trial, no one would come to me anymore.

i don't really care wheter or not it's a fair trail
i just think that he needs to be punished for all the things he has done
    he ruined so many lives
i just hope that the people who "choose" wheter or not it will be a fair trail will take full responsibilty for they're actions

He is guilty. This trial is not fair in the fact that he is being held accountable for crimes he has committed, solely because he lost the war. Those who have won wars rarely stand trial for the crimes they commit during them.
Within the trial itself, it's hard to say. Assuming this is an Iraqi court, which I'm under the impression it is, I'd say not. If that's the case, it would be the Reign of Terror judging the former King.
