    I heard about this. What a terrible thing for a family to go through.

    I hope the Colts win the Superbowl for Coach Dungy to at least try and lift his spirits.

    No one ever said he committed suicide. They're not sure what happened yet.

    But if he committed suicide, I dont intend to sound heartless AT ALL but you know the exact reason why. When you're a coach of a team that travels or a big celebrity, you are never around or there for your kids.

    When kids grow up without real parents, especially in their teen years it has a drastic effect on them. Both me and my dad think the poor kid committed suicide (even without proof of this) because probably nobody was there for him and he led a rough and lonely life.

    Football coaches are home with their families from February to August, though. That's half the year. It's also possible his family lives in Indianapolis, so he can just come home after in-town practices and games. Being a football coach hardly means you're an absentee father.

    Besides, he has a mother.

    I think it's very disrespectful to blame the father especially when we have no idea of what the backround in that situation was. It's unfair.
