He says Belgium is the worse word in the world but he wotn tell us why. He said to ask our parents what it mean incase they dont want us knowing. Im afraid to ask my parents now, so I thought I'd ask you guys. By the way, I knew my teacher is a little crazy by the things he says in class. Anybody have any idea what hes talking about though?
Belgium is a country that borders France, as well as the Netherlands. The main languages they speak there are French and Flemish. Don't see why that would be a bad word. My guess is that he's making fun of people who don't know what that word means. Like you.
It's from the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy." An epic series of books. They are hilarious. To many aliens, Belgium is the worst curse word ever. Ask your teacher what the answer to life, the universe, and everything is.
42 wasnt the answer to that question it was an answer to another question which no one knew, so to find that out they made another super computer called Earth. Oh well too bad Earth got demolished by the SLIMY VORGONS before it managed to process the the answer..........sry the question. SO i suppose the answer to belgiums bad meaning remains a mystery & same to the question whose answer is 42. now wasnt that confusing! atleast thats what i understood after i read the book..............
I heard that some kid last year put 42 for every answer on his quiz and he got 100% on it. I didnt know why though. I knew he was obsessed with that book but I never read it so had no idea what it was all about.
No... 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. They just don't know the question to life, the universe, and everything. It's a lot simpler than you think it is.
He's not insane, because the word implies that the man is "in" a "sane" state, which I'm sure is not what you are suggesting in the least. I still need to read the last 2 books.
I think that he is just trying to have a theme. I mean, what could be better than having a teacher who is actually fun and believes in reading good, funny literature, rather than sitting around talking in a monotone and reading coming of age fem lit? that is just my opinion though. well....so long and thanks for all the fish!
