Troubled past. The kid is going to be a tough draft choice for NFL executives. They have to figure his actions will hurt the team more then his athletic talent will help.

I saw this on ESPN like a week ago. I'm not surprised he was kicked off the team. A NFL team will pick him up most likely in a later round (I'm thinking 4th of 5th). There are teams that will take the risk. He has potential and he's a playmaker.

I'm really starting to wonder if he's gonna end up as the next Maurice Clarett...

A playmaker, yeah. But he's also got the potential to seriously harm players. He's more of a risk than he's worth if you ask me.

That's what they said about Ricky Williams. The Dolphins took the risk of bringing him back and keeping him. Now that he has proven himself to be a starting runningback again, his value has increased a ton. Marcus Vick only has one incident of intent to hurt a player on the field and this recent event is it. Every player has potential to harm another player but that doesn't mean they will. Even though he has had off field conflicts and a a history that shows he will probably do something dumb again, a team will take the risk and draft him.

I bet the Raiders draft him. He would fit perfectly in Oakland.

Yeah, he'll be picked up in a later round by the NFL. But, you can't blame a player for getting upset. Sure, he may have went too far this time, but fights break out, and there's not much you can do about it. Yeah, it's his fault, but that stuff happens. I haven't seen an incdient like that before, but it happens.

The difference here is that Clarett never did any stupid on the field, except maybe fumble the ball a time or two. And now that he's probably going to prison for a million years, it won't matter anyway.

True that Clarett never was a problem during games, but he was lazy and basically refused to practice or go all out to practice when he did.

But I'm with you... Clarett is a saint compared to Marcus Vick. He's ruined his family name.

If you guys didn't see. Yesterday Marcus Vick was arrested for 3 misdemeanor accounts of brandishing a firearm. He reportedly pulled a gun on 3 teenagers in a parking lot.

I think he will now be selected at an ever later round.

Damn, I saw this in the paper and was going to post it. I still think a team will draft him but real late.

I don't think a team would want to risk, a first round pick on someone as risky as him. If he does go I don't think he'll go until like 3rd or 4th round. If anything from what I have heard he might have to serve time if he is convicted.

He's basically ruined his chances. Even if he's selected he won't start a game for the first two years, at least, and I doubt he'll start any preseason games. He might not even see any play in any form for the first two years.
