Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington Reveal Their Nominations

    Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington (both members of the New Pantheon Award judges panel), have revealed their nominations for the most creative artists of 2005. Out of the 90 or so nominations from various artists, 10 finalists were announced, with the winner being selected at a special concert event in February.

    Between Mike and Chester's combined nominations, three of their chosen artists have become finalists which are M.I.A, Death Cab for Cutie and Bloc Party.

    Vhiessu is such an amazing CD, that should have been a finalist. Mike and Chester have good tastes in music. Minus The Bravery.

    Thrice should have been finalists. Bloc Party plays dance rock music, its not as creative as incorporating chain gang vocals into a song or writing a song around a music box's melody. Oh well at least Mike and Chester have good taste.

    I like The Bravery. They actually know how to use synthesizers unlike a lot of idiots who just pick it up so their band can look fashionable. Bands like that offend me because I'm a synth player. I'm sure others feel the same.

    Anyway, yeah the guys have good taste. They're not pretentious like a lot of people these days.
