New Album Release Date?

Which goes to show that their release date is bs. They are just starting pre-production, I imagine it won't be coming out that early.

I would guess it will be another holliday rush November/December release again. With Meteora they started pre-production exactly one year before the album was released.

If the next album is produced the same way Meteora was, it would be released Jan/Feb of 2007...

Well the only real factor that was different in Meteora was the release of Reanimation. That probably subtracts two months or so give or take, so I say it will be out November/December of 2006.

 

Suspense

Hmmm...Maybe it is already done but they are just building so much suspense in their fans

 

Well, even if they are, I hope they get it out by 2006. I can't wait for them to start touring though, because they havn't done it too much in the last year, not that I know of at least. I may be wrong though.

 

I think the album will be out some time in August or September, actually. I just have a feeling.

 

Yeah but the chemistry might be there more so with Rick than with Don Gilmore. Maybe Rick won't make then re-write a song 300 times.

i think LP are trying to do as much things different to the writting process of Meteora as possible.. New producer, less time than before, different writting angle (what Brad said about BTH) and working on a whole new sound thats still LP..

It might not happen though.. since Mike still has Fort Minor obligations to finish off in the next month and promotion and all that needs to be taken accountable - like, are they gonna have another art day or something.. But then again we all dont know what they are doing in the studio exactly, we all know they got alot of songs and are widdling them down to 15.. So maybe 3 months isnt ALL that bad if LP really dig into it and work their creative minds.. Rick isant pushing them either, hes not forcing them into what they sound like so thats alot of freedom which kinda means alot less work if they get it right you know?

Touring is scheduled for mid/late 2006 so they probably already have a good idea on where they stand.. Chester has put his album on hiatus so they are probably already into the heavy stages.. So im guessing a 3-5 month release IS possible..

That wouldnt neccesarily be a good thing, If Rick Rubin Let them do Whatever and didn'nt care and make them rewrite, It would probably not turn out as good as Meteora.. Don't you think?

Meterora wasn't good lyrically compared to some of the other stuff that Mike and Chester have come up with. Sometimes it's better to not re-write a song 300 times in order to make it accessible by a large audience.

Yeah, I guess your right, I didn think of it that way. And your right about Meteora, I liked Hybrid theory better. So your probably right.

 

if it's true that the release date is May 26th... then it's only a few days away! but of course it's not true cos now... it's been very quiet around... no news... please tell me it's gonna be out in June... =(

 

I wish it were coming out on May 26th. I think it'll still be awhile.
