Austin Powers: Goldmember (for the 6 time hilarious movie)

 

Constantine, last night. Surprisingly decent. Keanu Reeves is pretty convincing in this one.

was funny at parts, but kinda just like all other jim carrey comedies.

Creepy, better story...but not enough death

 

The longest yard - 9/10
Gangs of New york - 6/10. good movie, love all the gore and stuff. but i can just never understand what the hell the plot is about.. it's just like lots of little stories randomly glued together... and bits don't make sense. but i watch it just for the fighting

 

Save the Last Dance. 4/10. Cliche drama, so many inaccuracies, and insufficient acting. The dancing was good though.

Dee Snider's Strangeland - 6.5/10

Man, was this movie fucked up or what. The sidekick cop was horrible, but Dee was a convincing psycho-turned reformed psycho-turned psycho again. He looked fuckin' wicked, too. The music was dark, and the club scene was just awesome. Overall, I think it's a good movie. The message, to me atleast, was that man can't change his ways. Some people are just naturally evil.

Good movie. I'll buy it on DVD when I get the chance, most likely.

 

I loved it, except the stupid scene at the end with the sex and the flashbacks. I just don't see the metaphor. How does him having sex with his wife relate to athletes getting murdered? It kind of ruined the movie for me. I expected more from such a good director.
