According to the Malaysian Star, Warner Music Malaysia has released a compilation disc of songs from Warner rock acts entitled 'Warner Rock Festival'. Linkin Park have been picked to be featured on the compilation along the likes of Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, My Chemical Romance, Trapt, Dream Theater, Muse, The Darkness, Jet, Jason Mraz, The Used, and more. No word as of yet as to which Linkin Park song, or for that matter any song from any of the previously mentioned artists, that is included on the disc. Source: Malaysian Star.
Hoping for a new track, I'd be really disappointed if it's Numb or Breaking The Habit. It'll probably end up being Numb / Encore though.
i think it will be a heavy song because it is a rock contemplation, so no numb/encore! hooray! definitely something i would buy.
It won't be a new track. It's being put out by Warner Music Malaysia. Why would they get an exclusive like that? And besides, from what I've gathered, Malaysia gets things later than North American or European countries so it's probably something from 'Meteora'. Lastly, Linkin Park wouldn't pick a Malaysian compilation cd to release new material.
This is something that happens almost every week I know of around 30 comp. albums that 'feature' lp. I got one or two, but mainly ones from before the album release.
