When they have Riggott, Southgate, Downing and Yakubu playing together they are one of the best teams in the country.

I didn't say it was lucky. In fact I said pretty much the same as what you just did.

If Arsenal beat Madrid again in the second leg I hope to god that we draw the winner of Rangers/Villareal because we'll beat them no doubt which means we're in the semis and the team spirit will be fucking high enough to take us into the final and dare I say it...win the fucking cup for once!

Look, Gerard Houllier fucked Liverpool up so much that no one thought they'd even qualify for the Champions League and behold they won it. If they can win it then so can we. We might not be doing well in the premiership but we're focusing on the Champions League as we'd like to end our run at highbury on a high. We've never won it and I think it's about time we do. So don't tell me I've taken down a pint too many because it's football and anything can happen. Hell we're 11/1 to win the damn thing.

Arsenal stand a decent chance. They're a lot more suited to Europe than the Premiership.

United have won the carlin cup, i know it isnt much, buts a cup at the end of the day
Nice to see them dedicate the win to smith with the shirts.
Apparently he will be back in 7 months, i hope so, hes one of the best young players we've got.

24 is young, he's still about four or five years away from his peak.

They start to peak at about 26 then when they hit 30 they start to lose their natural fitness and get less sharp.
