Finally! I'm not really into Evanescence anymore...but maybe I'll jump right back into their music once their new album comes out, depending on if I like it.
About damn time some news came out. I can't wait to see what Terry brings to the band. He's a great songwriter.
As siad, it's about time. Evanescence's website doesn't update worth a shit. But one day when I was curious if this band was still alive, I found out they've been in the studio and already had an album title. A realease date is just a big sigh of relief, and I can't wait for this record!
It's been said, but..... FINALLY! Dayum. I haven't listened to them for a long time, but I'll probably listen to Fallen a lot as The Open Door gets closer to release.
*laughs* fresh.....yeah iits like someone wearing the same pair of underrwear for two weeks and they finally put a different pair on.......I hope theres more songs like whisper and tourniquet i love them songs
i liked "going under", "tourniquet", "imaginary" and "hello" to some extent.. i think the choir was only good in "whisper" 'cause i don't like the choir in the other tracks. i think amy's voice is enough, the way it is in the background of "missing", especially.. the strings were excellent, particularly in the intermission at the end of "tourniquet" and then on the intro of "imaginary". the new album ... i'm expecting to hear better guitar parts; not so much solos, but just more complex parts in the background. if they had guests on the album, it'd be good too... but again, if not, amy's voice will suffice. it's also good that evanescence finally gets to work together as a band in their songwriting which will improve the instrumental side of their songs and make their songs more flexible in terms of ideas and experimentation.
I hope this CD is good because there's times when I love Evanescence but there's also times I can't stand them so hopefully this album will be all good
