This song is fucking amazing. The album is shaping up to be one of the highlights of 2006 music wise.

It's really weird how this is the same guy who sings in Slipknot...

Sounds pretty good. 30/30 - 150 is a little better, but that's probably because I'm in a harder mood as of late. I'm looking forward to the album.

    That song is incredible.

If he can master both the heavy songs (30-30-150 is awesome) and the soft songs like this one on the new album, it's going to be great.

What's up with that beep about 1:20 in?

Edit: Holy shit. I think I might have a favorite song of the year. This is great.

I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
Oh god it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

How do you feel? That is the question.
But I forget you don't expect an easy answer.
When something like a soul become initialized,
Folded up like paper dolls and little notes,
You can't expect a bit of fault.
So while you're outside looking in,
    Describing what you see.
Remember what you're staring at is me.

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

How much is real? So much to question.
    An epidemic of the mannequins,
    Contaminating everything.
I thanked you from the heart
But never did right from the start.
Just listen to the noises (????).
Before you tell yourself it's just a different scene.
Remember it's just different for what you've seen.

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
And all I know is that it feels like forever
And no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you,
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you,

I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
Oh god, it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
Don't know how much time has passed.
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head.

And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you,
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you,
And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you,
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you,

Oh when the stars, oh when the stars, they lie.....

    Lyrics. Somebody revise them.

I love the outro to this song.

I just got a rip of the song without any beeps in it, so if i'm able to post it...I will. (Since I noticed that BxT got away with posting the radio rip to Lostprophets)

Well, radio rip being the main reason.

I'd like to play it safe. Roadrunner put those beeps in for a reason and I wouldn't want to get in their way. Keep it to the back channels (PMs, IMs, etc).

Ok, whatever you say...I'll do that to be safe. BTW, here's the lyrics revise you wanted.

1.) How do you feel? That is the question
But i forget.. you dont expect and easy answer
When something like a soul becomes
Initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You cant expect to bitter folks
And while your outside looking in
    Describing what you see
Remember what your staring at is me

2.) How much is real? So much to question
And never dare make up the mannequins
    Contaminating everything
When thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
    Just listen to the noises
    (No more sad voices)
    Before you tell yourself
    Its just a different scene
Remember its just different from what you've seen

    Rest is correct

    Come What(Ever) May cover art.

I believe the lyrics have been on the myspace?

Awesome song! The beeps are annoying. At first I thought some moron in the band decided to add those in there because he thought they sounded cool or something.

I don't really like it. 3030 150 is way better. This song seems to me like roadrunner told them to make a really soft song, so they just threw this together to make them happy.

Intresting theory...doubt it's correct though considering that Roadrunner are all about making things sound loud and as less soft as possible. That's why I'm still clueless as to why Nickleback are with them.

Excuse Corey for expanding his music boundaries. :p

He obviously wanted to stray away from the reputation that comes from being the lead vocalist of Slipknot by writing songs like "Bother" and "Through The Glass" with Stone Sour. And then there's the acoustic/soft songs on the latest Slipknot release. I'd rather have an album with a soft song or two instead of all screaming. That's just me, though.

I completly agree. IMO every band no matter who they are should have their share of soft songs.

Roadrunner may be about making things loud, but obviously 'Bother' was Stone Sour's biggest song, and it seemed to me while listening to 'Through The Glass', I could just see some Roadrunner head telling these guys to make a 'Bother-esque' slow song to sell albums. And viola, this is the first single(unless I'm mistaken). But that's not even the reason I didn't like the song. I just didn't like it, nothing wrong with that.

And that thing about excusing Corey for expanding his musical boundaries... I love soft songs. I love when bands do something different. All my favorite bands do something outside of what you hear everyday on the radio, and that's why I like them. I thought Bother was amazing, especially coming from the Slipknot singer. Hell, Vermillion part 2 was by far my favorite song on Subliminal Verses. I just didn't like this song.

Fair enough but I wouldn't say Bother was Stone Sour's biggest song, I'd say 'Get Inside' was.
