    Hadn't heard of these guys until I saw they were playing main stage at Ozzfest. Never really been a fan of speed metal but I went to their site and listened to "Through the Fire and Flames" and was completely blown away. I can't get enough of this song. Anyone else heard much Dragonforce / have any opinions on them?

    I first heard Dragonforce earlier this year, it was indeed 'Through The Fire and The Flames' that I heard. I checked out some of their stuff and they are pretty decent but jesus christ their songs are too long :lol:

    First heard 'My Spirit Will Go On' before 'Inhuman Rampage' came out here, 'My Spirit Will Go On' is one of the best songs by them. But they're nothing special.

    No, the solos later on the song OWNS everyone.

    Dragonforce is freaking amazing. I've never heard so many crazy solos so often.

    They try to wow you with their technical skills but the songwriting is bland and cheesy power metal, with fast riffs and double bass in every song, and the vocals are terrible in the power metal tradition....I am not a fan of Dragonforce as you can tell!

    AMAZING band, just saw the video for "Through The Fire And Flames" on youtube from another forum and jesus h christ! I was blown away. watched the video, seriously 6 times and am still in shock. "got" the album and am enjoying every minute
