I'm kind of liking the new song. The new singer fits much better than the previous one (Luke, was it? I forgot his name, haha) and he seems to have a Marky-like voice. Hopefully this is the first step to the return of Adema in a form more familiar to the public. I'm not going to get into the whole thing about the previous singer again becuase I'm sure others feel different, but this vocalist just seems to fit the Adema mold better. Here's to hoping this is just the first step to a great come back.
Enter the Cage was an amazing song, but the rest of the last album was trash. The new song sounds kind of Orgy-ish... it's decent.
FYI, too: this song isn't finished. It isn't even mixed or mastered. I love it, though. I actually enjoyed "Planets", but this sounds like it's going to demolish that and maybe even the original Adema (with Marky, although I'll wait for more until I say that for certain). Oh yeah: they also added another guitarist who played with Bobby (new singer) in Level.
Wow, the new vocalist really does resemble Marky's voice. I haven't listened to Adema ever since Planets came out, I just thought that once the original vocalist left, I wouldn't ever get back into Adema, let's hope this next album will change my mind. This song is definitely 'Somthin' better'
Sounds good. I also liked the live versions of "Immortal" & "Giving In" I heard with Bobby. Looking forward to the new stuff from Adema, as well as the new Midnight Panic material too.
It's a good song but Adema just aren't Adema without Marky Chavez. Well atleast this new singer Bobby Reeves is a damnsight better than whoever the hell thier last singer was
Why did Marky Chavez leave anyways? *edit Hmm, I see. So there were 'creative differences' I assume. Cool, he's in a new band now. Learn something new everyday heh,.
He basically refused to write songs for the band for a little while and had some bad problems that don't need to be discussed. Wasn't really "creative", that's just the polite way of putting it.
Ah...I see. By the way, Midnight Panic's songs on MySpace ain't all that great imo. It sounds too...punk? I don't know the word to describe it. 'You Don't Have To Be Afraid' reminds me a lot of the vocal work he did before. The other two songs on their myspace however makes me feel like his voice sounds just like the generic rock leads in bands these days. I hope Midnight Panic provides more songs like You Don't Have To be Afraid.
