As promised, the Linkin Park Association now presents the second exclusive track from the String Quartet's latest album, Tribute to Linkin Park's Meteora. Expanding on the atmospheric sounds composed in the powerhouse hit 'Numb', the group displays their ability to enchant and match the string compositions penned by Mike Shinoda and co. The album, which was recently released through Vitamin Records, displays the ever-expanding creativity and boldness of the quartet as they tackle Linkin Park's sophomore effort.

Thanks to Jon at Vitamin Records!

I am sorry. This is not what I meant. I thank you guys for offering us this kind of stuff... I meant that I did not want to buy an album after hearing only one good song...

Numb is pretty good, i think. It's as fun as the original, so it's been well done.

All I can say is i'm thankful the LPA gave us this preview...

The song (both of the ones that were up for preview), simply didn't have that grand sweeping feel that an orchestra or any string group would be known to have. Both, orchestras and Linkin Park have been known for their grand undertakings, I even recall, I think it was Brad, who mentioned his guitar playing was always done to create a grand, atmospheric sound...not nessecarily to "shred" like the better known guitarists do. This song is just an oddball, I actually prefer TheKen's stuff to this.

    Power to the people.
