When you say "dont be surprised if it doesnt feature Mike at all", we're still assuming he'll be playing guitar or keyboards on the song right?
You know, its realistic to think we could have a tracklisting in 15 days! This is amazing! Once we get the release date, time is gonna go so slowly till the album drops.
Masterpiece, I'd be surprised if it wasnt after all this time :D

It's basically a given with Linkin Park that you have to wait around 4 years between albums unfortunately =\.

Are we still assuming that the album has 17 tracks? 'cos that'd be sweet :D

who knows how many songs. my best guess is 14 or 15. hopefully 17, but i'm guessing 15 is more realistic, but ya never know. they could surprise us! :) that'd be sweet. maybe it'll be longer than 40 mins. that'd be a first and a feat in itself. i just hate listening to both LP albums in barely over an hour.

    Just wondering...

Who was #1 on that list for 2007?

Radiohead? Or maybe Britney Spears? :p

Yes but she's a total airhead, I'd kick her out of here If I had that option.

I doubt that'll happen but you never know, after all One Step Closer was their first single for HT and that hardly features Mike at all.

Nah. Her music isn't great but a lot of the time she talks sense, at least in my eyes.

So... I am anticipating the album a bit more now, but to be honest that's probably because there don't seem to be many albums that I want to hear being released this year. Most of them came out in 2006.

    It's almost like NIN, haha.

But remember, in between we usually get some sort of side project work.

I don't know, I mean first it was May, then February and now March..
All the interviews are from Chester and he seems to be more lost than we are because he gives every single time a different month...

Why they just don't make a TV interview with the whole band and confirming
    "YES, it is March"....
I don't want to get all excited now and then when is March I'd have to heard:
"Oh Sorry guys.. we just didn't like the sound of one of the songs, so we are redoing it now.. album delay..."

Of course, the same process was with Meteora. I mean the dates for the album.. but I'm not really sure for this album..
So this mean that they are probably making the video for the first single or what??..
One thing that I'm sure is that around January and Feb. there are gonna be a bunch of interviews.. it's is always like that.. and TRL for them soon too, so Fuse, and Vh1, etc..

Something that I found today very curious is that, the article says:
"... And for the first time, they are recording live in the studio..."

Ugh?? :ermm: ...ok, so from what I know, recording live in the studio means that every single member of the band are recording together like if they were playing in a concert or something and that bands do live recording to not do any layering with computer and other machines like LP did in their previous albums.
BUTTTT, didn't Phoenix tell Derek that Mike and Chester were doing vocals first and then mixing??... interesting...

    Question for Derek:
Another thing I found curious is that Chester in Blender said the title for the album was "T__& T__".
But when you asked Phoenix about the title, you mentioned the "T__& T__" idea and Mike's own version of the title... Phoenix answered that, that was not gonna be the title.
The question is: What is not gonna be the title?, the T__& T__ or Mike's title?

Even if the band is recording instruments live, it doesn't mean that they aren't doing voices separate. What they probably mean is rather than record the guitars in separate parts and piece them together to layer them, they are playing them live for a more raw and authentic feel.
