    Children Of Men.

I recommend this film to, well everyone. Dark and powerful, with a strong message.

I just got back from Epic Movie....

Let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay to see it (and I did it legally too! :D). It was the same not-funny jokes used in Scary Movie 4, just applied to a different genre of spoofed movies.

The only remotely funny parts were the spoofs of Snakes on a Plane and Borat, which both scenes combined lasted maybe 2 minutes. The rest of the movie was crap.

Smokin' Aces. Deadly movie. Really funny in parts, and really action-packed in others. Go see it.

Idiocracy. If you're expecting really intelligent comedy you will hate it, although you could say it's the same kind of satire as Borat only acted (obviously) and probably not as funny as a result. If you can get past that it's still good, and proof that Luke Wilson > Owen Wilson (but ultimately Owen Wilson's agent > Luke Wilson's agent).

    The Departed - 10/10

Holy fucking hell, what a brilliant movie. Brutal, solid acting, solid plot, and a couple of twists and turns. Go see this movie and I hope to god that Scorcese gets his Oscar for this finally.

Inspired by the awe inspiring movies: Infernal Affairs one, and two. Personally I felt that the original story that The Departed spawned off from, was much presented in a more slick and stylish way. Both movies are great however.

    Smokin' Aces: 8/10

Just got home from watchin Smokin' Aces. I was hyped for the movie, but I was kind of let down, it was an awesome film, the plot twists were pretty well done, didn't see it comin.

The Reason it was a let down? To me, it felt like the movie built itself up to climax or some big event every 10 to 15 minutes...and nothing would happen.

Something about Bloody Sunday (Irl.), it was a movie/documentary, really breathtaking when you see what the english troops did over there :|
