The Worst LP Lyrics

Which Linkin Park song has the worst lyrics in your opinion? (besides ASP )


For me it's Figure0.9 followed by Qwerty.

 

I don't think any of LP's lyrics are bad however I do consider some of them to be weaker than others. Somewhere I Belong and Faint would probably be the ones that stand out as being weaker IMO.

 

Pretty much all of Meteora for me. Oh and some of the lyrics in QWERTY. Mainly the chorus.

 

Well...none of them are that seriously bad,but yes, some are really weak!

 

Awww their fans. I don't think any of their stuff is bad. True some are kinda weak but what you expect, they only did 2 lps.

 

Does "Nobody's listening" annoy anyone? It's not to do with the fact the it's more of a rap song, it just sounds wrong to me....

 

Figure.09's lyrics are really good. Mike's rapping on the two Figure.09 verses are the best ones on Meteora. QWERTY owns too. I love the verses and chorus.

and wtf ASP's lyrics rule too.

Worst lyrics I think are Nobody's Listening and Forgotten.

 

Forgotten actually uses visualization in the lyrics, there's metaphors and stuff in it, stuff that was completely absent on Meteora. I agree with the "most of Meteora" sentiment. SIB, Numb, Don't Stay = bleh (lyrically). I like stuff better when it's up to interpretation rather than having the angsty themes spoonfed to me as if I have no understanding of lyrics at all.

 

Yea Nobody's Listening is the worst. And no, its not 'cos its rap, i love High Voltage.
@ Hahninator: I thought Forgotten are some of their best, far more complex than 95% of their other stuff.

 

It seems to me that in Figure.09 it is pretty much the same words that rhyme in both verses. And the chorus is so predictable as well. Personally, I don't like when I know what he'll say in the next line before I even hear it.

Verses in Qwerty are rather ok, but I feel like I've heard the chorus a thousand times before.

And I mentioned ASP lyrics as a joke, because I actually consider it a joke lyrics.

Forgotten's lyrics are one of the LP's finest ever imo.



Here's to hoping that we'll agree that lyrics on the new album are great once we hear it

i dunno why some r dissin Nobody's Listening...its actually a bit rap heavy and has a rough feel to it, tht's it. umm it's really hard to decide which one's the worst....uummm Cure for the Itch !!!!???

 

hmm i cant think of any bad lyrics all of them are beautiful in there own way
