People loved Linkin Park because of their new invention of RAP/Rock Nu Metal Genere. Everybody had something new to listen to, and not just new, it was good, that is why they were adored by fans.

From the producer's and band's comments about the 3rd album, what I am expecting from the band is something beyond Rap Rock, something even fresh-er than that...something even new-er.

Based on that 30-second clip, I don't see nothing new. Sounds more like an expreiment on Meteora that was called "Breaking the Habit." I would call it POP-Rock (somebody else mentioned that too earlier in this post). Nothing I havent heard before.

Just like everyone else, I have been waiting for this album since a long time. Can't wait for May 15th...hoping they keep their Rap/Rock tradition alive.

 

Bear in mind EVERYONE this is only a 30 second clip of ONE song of the 16/17 that'll be on the final album. It's almost certain that at least a couple of songs on the album will appeal to most tastes, so hold yer horses and sit tight

I agree I hope they keep some sort of rap/rock-ish thing going on, but judging by what's already been said I'm not sure if that's what to expect.

 

I dunno it sounds strange, somehow to simple, but i like the guitar in the end.
What am i saying it will rock!!!

It seems that my prediction about someone making a siggy photoshopping this song and the LP logo together within a day came true.

 

ehh some people really need to chill i mean do we really have to kill each other over a a clip of a song? just let them think what they want and when the album comes we'll all be blown away simple as that

 

We need to keep in mind to that this is the single picked by warner for the radio station so of course its gonna sound like everything else just be patient, with ht, meteora, and reanimation did they let down? and that young buk song with chester is real good.
