New Ringtone Picks Up Where We Left Off

    Yet another ringtone of Linkin Park's soon-to-be released first single, "What I've Done," has made its way to the world wide web, expanding on the 10 second clip offered by Linkin Park's own ringtone service. Providing what appears to be the reprise, the clip presents a mono-syllabic humming, or inaudible singing, over the chorus that is foriegn to previous songs.

    That's actually in the original ringtone. You have to listen carefully.

    I know that :p. I only said that the clip expands on what we already have and makes these back-up vocals more prominent.

    actually its not.. the original ringtone loops before the na na na extension comes in...

    chesters vocals seem to extend more in this too

    Ridiculous.

    With such secrecy around the album, and security, the measurements that Linkin Park build for themselves is just that...ridiculous.

    It's funny, because on previous albums, you'd notice that the other band members would be noted for backing vocals, yet you wouldn't really hear any. This is the chance to really hear it. And it's absolutely amazing.

    I think I might be the only one that doesn't like the backing vocals... I mean I guess I like the way they sound, but all he's saying is 'na na na na'

    When I heard a little bit of those backing vocals on the looping ringtone, I thought they were awesome. It just feels more raw, old-shoolish, and now with this clip their more prominent, like Omar said, it sounds even better.

    (Heh, what if there was a song with Phoenix, Brad, and Rob on vocals? :p )

    This song is slowly growing on me. (It may be the repeated plays on iTunes, though ;))
