Verse and New Chorus Preview of What I've Done!

I know there is tight security, but is anyone hoping that the song leaks today? my assumption is that today is the last day that the mail will be delivered until monday, so radio stations should be getting the single to play in preparations for monday. hopefully if someone gets it, they will leak it, lol. ooor radio stations wil l be getting it "last minute" on Monday to play on their nightly programs? anyone work at a radio station and give me some input or some hope?

sorry if that post just seemed to ramble, but I'm tired and I just had this "stroke of genius" in hopes of a leak today.

 

Well, If we go at the cheesiness again, They made get it last minute, So they can play it exactly 'Minutes To Midnight'

 

i know its only for a second, but u know that small small guitar riff in the beginning when Chester says "What I've Done"? And there like a very very very short guitar riff before he finished the chorus..i like that part.

The problem with the band changing their sound is that if they end up changing it too radically then they're going to end up polarizing and losing a lot of fans. It's getting redundant to name off Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold (especially since those two bands have completely different styles of music from Linkin Park) but those are two very good examples. They changed their sounds radically and polarized a lot of their fans. Now almost no one likes Trivium and only the weird kids like Avenged Sevenfold's new "Guns 'N Roses" sound. So if Linkin Park changes their sound too radically then there's going to be a lot of problems. I just hope they changed their sound for the better, and not just to sell some records or to hype the album up to sell more. I hope they're actually doing it for the quality of the music and not the number of records they want to sell. I think that's everyone's main problem with them "changing" the sound. It's not that we don't want it, it's that we're afraid they won't be Linkin Park anymore.

 

I really wish, but I doubt it. They've come this far, so they will probably make it until Monday. And Speaking of which, have they said if they releasing the song at midnight onto iTunes/radio? Or, do we have to wait some time during the day?

 

It shouldn't matter, it doesn't matter if you're the first person to listen to it. It will always be there. It will probably be up 12:01 am est.

 

It matters to whichever site gets it first.

I wouldn't doubt the LPA will have it up Monday morning. Would be neat, that way I can listen to it before I go to work instead of having to wait all day.

For some reason I have this feeling that Mike got a lot of rapping done on Fort Minor, and wont do a lot of it on this album.

Also, in regards to the clip, I really like it. Can not wait for monday!!!

 

with all this talk about the single almost to be released, wouldnt it be illegal for the LPA to host the file once its released? So why would the LPA have it up?

yup, very very close now this weekend has already seemed to fly by [at least today has] for me. so this is great. i am getting anxious still. i need to stay off here, but then again i don't want to stop at the same time.

Radio rips are bad quality rite ? I'm gona d/l the itunes version of the file which should be pretty good quality i hope.
