Today KROQ held an exclusive interview with Linkin Park in which they asked the band some questions concerning the new album, as well as their latest single "What I've Done". According to this interview, Linkin Park worked at at least TWELVE studios over the course of this CD!

Link has been updated as the previous one went down. Thank you.

Thanks to Mark T. of staff for the clip!

the album cover throws me in two directions. the first direction is disappointment, but then I'm swayed right back to "I like it". seeing that they are reinventing themselves and basically rebirthing Linkin Park, I like it, it's steering away from the graffiti/youth nu-metal/raprock stuff and stepping towards being a new band. I love Linkin Park, thank god they are back! the next month and a half is gonna be a great ride. :D

Rock on, i totally agree. When i first saw it i was like "this is the album cover? its totally different" but thats what LP is aiming for, totally reinventing themselves, and i love that about them. they are just amazing. lol. a perfect band to be obsessed over, i think.

The album cover is so much like the episode of South Park where Cartman forms a christian rock band and they make their album cover, lol. Faith+1 I think they were called.

Woo! I like how in the interview, they kind of poke fun at how long it took LP to make this record.
Hopefully it doesn't take 4 years for the next album.

those other pictures are pretty cool

great things take time. I honestly feel that you all can quote me when I say that this record will most definitely blow even Hybrid Theory clear out of the water. I'm placing money on it

I'm seriously considering whether I like LP or not. the direction they're going in, I mean. maybe there'll be something in the other Minutes to Midnight songs that makes me really like it, and maybe not. though if they start changing their genre of music every album, I'm leaving them fosho.
