Meteora Remix Album Will NOT Happen

    According to Joe Hahn, Linkin Park turntablist/video director, "Meteora" will not be getting the remix treatment like "Hybrid Theory" did when "Reanimation" was created and released. "No, Mike thought it was too much work, so no.", said Mr Hahn in a recent linkinpark.com chat when asked whether a remix album was being planned. However it was confirmed a few months ago that a few remixes have been planned so although the full "Meteora" may not be getting remixed, you may see a few remixes on the upcoming CD/DVD combo due out in November.

    Thank the lord. Personally I think that another remix album might just ruin what they already have. Maybe after another album or 2 then maybe they can make a remix album with teh albums that they did not remix.

    I think another remix album should be made, but definatly not yet, it would be boring to hear only songs from meteora remixed, i liked the fact that reanimation had songs like high voltage and my december that broke it up a bit from just hybrid theory..... i would like to hear some remixs on the website or on singles though :)

    hmmm i sure hope so but i dunno there is gonna be alot of touring stuff on it at a guess as they only have 3 or 4 videos to put on it hmmm they really do need something to make it sell to the fans although frat party was great i dont think a straight up repeat will work without something unique like new songs so maybe ..... *fingers crossed*

    If the new DVD was just like Frat, I'd buy it. I love that DVD.

    Its good that they are going to do some remixes but if you think about it will probably lose all momentum the metora had.

    I cant wait till I get my money for Back To Skool then I can join LPU, buy Frat Party and buy the new DvD/CD when it comes out and I hope it has some Meteora remix's on it, that would be very good :D and make me very happy.

    like a greatest hits remix album...like limp bizkit's "new old songs". who would want that really? :rolleyes:

    no, the old audio format pre-audio cassette. circa 1979 i my mom remembers correctly (IMMRC :p )

    As I remember, I read an article which said that the band preforms a reanimation-styled remix of the song "Numb" during the Summer Sanitarium Tour and I really wanna listen to it!!

    That was a terrible article filled with typos, lmao. Sorry to sink your boat but that reanimation style song was P5hng Me A*wy. In that article they called "One Step Closer"; "Just One Step". And there were alot more typos, lol.
