I've got to agree with that. WID is by far the worst song on the album. And on LP's full catalog you've got to think it's right down there with Somewhere I Belong. I hate how artists release such safe first singles. Why can't you pull out all the stops initially and get everyone even more hyped? But it's like we all thought, WID wouldn't be the strongest song on the album, meaning the album is going to be awesome.

with their first single XD, there's so much good stuff in this album that is crazy how they picked WID as the lead single, its just crazy

WID its like the worst song on the album, and one of the worst they ever recorded, even In Betweeen is like 100x better[/QUOTE]

In Pieces is the best track ever recorded by any band from the Nu Metal era, why?

because it doesn´t sound like nu metal at all XD

i knew that LP was the band with the best chance of surviving the dissapearence of thier so called "scene"

im so happy, i remember the old days when i heard One Step Closer on the radio (and i thougt it was shit XD), who would ever think that that cool band kids jumping around rocking out (as i hope they still do) would become this...

hardcore fan since 7 years ago and ´till the day i die... :*(

No More Sorrow is the highlight.

I really want No More Sorrow to be the next single. It is definately
my favourite so far. Just hearing it in studio quality confirms it.
To me it is the best reflection of a Linkin Park which is different
but in a good way, and maintains the power and intensity that have
    made them unique.

Interesting as well I just realised that "No More Sorrow" come from a passage in Revelation in the bible, 21:4 I think. "There will be no more sorrow, nore mouning, nor outcry. The former things will have passed away". Just some trivia I thought was interesting, probably entirely coincedental because a song by Bad Religion contains similar lyrics.

But I just want to say to everyone, it took me 6 months before I liked Linkin Park, I didnt join the band wagon till after Meteora. Than when I listened to Hybrid Theory I didnt like and even skipped most of the songs on first listen. But as I listened to it more and more it grew on me until it became my absolute favourite band and every song theyve done, I like.

So sure M2M is very different, I really didnt like Bleed It Out first time I heard it. Now im singing the chorus in my head. Give it a chance, you all know its better than 90% of all other albums currently out that have been successful. We are just judging it more harshly because we expect so much from them. But just wait, they'll deliver, theyre Linkin Park..

Bleed It Out could just be one of my favorite LP songs along with What I've Done.

Agreed. For some reason it feels to me that Leave Out All The Rest will be a huge hit on the charts; and probably rake in more femine fans.

This record sounds very Incubus-esque. And I love it. :)

    Some thoughts:

    - "Hands Held High" will probably be my favorite Linkin Park song.
    - "Bleed It Out" is catchy as hell and will be sick when played live.
    - The only "emo" esque song on there in my opinion is "In Between".
    - "Leave Out All The Rest" will defitnately be the next single.

    getting better with age

I got into lp after i bought meteora and i fell in love with that cd...it was in my car cd player for like 3 months straight and the main songs that i got into are breaking the habit and numb..i guess chester is the main thing about the band that draws me to that cd and the band i guess. I love the fact that they have evolved...all great bands do..like KoRn you gotta keep doing new things. I love what i'm hearing so far from mtm and will buy this cd right away as well. I never got that into hybrid theory i guess though...just like 1 or 2 songs i thought are good...so i guess i think they just keep getting better!

"Leave Out All The Rest" will definitely be a single, but I think they'll pick one of the heavier songs for a second single.

  19. these clips sounds..good I guess..it's hard to make an opinion on 30 sec, but I think I'll like most of these songs..No more sorrow is still my favorite:)
