I think he is one of the best. The guy has one hell of a set of lungs on him, especially live.

You can't name me many singers who do what he does on such a consistent basis from night to night on tours.

I'd certainly agree with Maynard, though.

    Best lead singer...

Agree with Maynard, you HAVE to throw Ben Burnley from Breaking Benjamin in that mix as well, not to mention the lead singer from Chevelle.

Just heard Bleed It Out again on the radio, likin' it more and more. One thing though, what's up with all the clapping in the intros? Don't Stay, Bleed It Out and Given Up all have that in them, but they all rock..

Bleed It Out has some backing noises from a crowd talking and some other interesting tidbits during the song...can't wait for the release!

Anthony keidis and Dave grohl are good vocallist but I wouldn't say they were anything special. Chester, on the other hand is.

Well Chino from Deftones has some crazy screams too.

Their live shows are INSANE. He may even be better than Chas. Live at least. I mean Chester isn't some screaming pioneer, he's just good at it.

Davey Havok wins it for me, if he still counts as our generation. Amy Lee is amazing too.

If Chester is anything though, he is damn versatile.

I think Brent Smith from Shinedown is a very talented singer of our generation as well IMO.

    Thanks a ton dude.

And the cussing just really bugs me. I think most all music is better without it.

if anyone wants to get the special edition for cheap, check out buy.com and sign up for google checkout to get 10 bucks off your first purchase. the cd/dvd combo's listed at 20 bucks, so with shipping and tax you pay around 13-15 bucks. i say it's quite a deal.

Who's to say Mike's exaggerating? He could honestly think Chester is one of the greatest singers of our generation and he isn't wrong in thinking so because it's just his opinion. Just because you or anyone else disagrees with it doesn't mean he's talking out of his butt, lol.

While that could be true, when he said that the projekt revolution tour this year would be one best lineups in a while.....can't exactly say it's true. and if he wasn't exaggerating and he does truly feel that lineup is really great, then i don't value his opinion too much.

He put Mike on there. No offense to Mike but having him included as a best singer on any list kinda kills the list automatically.

As I posted in a now deleted thread:

They just need to release a SUPEROMGWTFBBQLOLOWNED Edition to end all special editions that is so amazing it makes you have to give your unborn child to Linkin Park.

    Problem solved.
