EXCLUSIVE: LPAssociation.com Interview with DJ Joseph Hahn

This review is not only a testiment to how great LPA is but also how cool the members of LP are with fansites and the fans.

He does seem a little annoyed that alot of the scratching was muted... thing is though producers usually do what they think is for the best overall. If we heard versions with scratching we might find it was a bit too distracting or something.

 

Great job getting the interview. You guys are amazing here.

It does seem like he's a little angry but he still gets the same amount of money as the other guys so he'll get over it. Plus, how many Minutes to Midnight songs are they really going to play live. It'll be a snoozefest. They are gonna play a lot of their old stuff live so he'll still be very prominent part of the live shows. If they do play some new stuff maybe he could learn to play the steel drum so they could play In Pieces.

Thanks LPA, you guys rock! Great interview. On a bit of a side note, it is weird to interview someone that you are such a huge fan of. I mean most interviews are for magazines or for radio. It's not everyday (except for here) that a fan site gets to interview the artist.

 

Hey good question about Joe's perfomance on this album...

Yeah, it sucks he's not doing any big thing (compare it to the other tracks) but he's amazing.. gotta love him anyways..

He's participation in "What I've done" just give the final touch to the song..

It's hard to tell via written text, but I think Joe might have been joking a bit about Mike/Brad muting his scratches. There's a ton of extra programming and electronic stuff on the album.

I think Joe might be using his trademark sense of humor there.
