I vote for The Little Things Give You Away. This song just seems like a classic - LP's Stairway to Heaven IMO. It also showcases their true evolution as a band.
My second favourite is Valentines Day... for some reason i just love it. It kind of reminds me of the song format of Papercut. Verses draw on until that last 1 minute of the song where the sound completely changes for the better.
I vote for "Leave Out All The Rest " . I think that it's so nice , so melodic , and the lyrics is , too . I think that this will be the next hit of this album after What I 've Done ... I also love "In Between" . The first time I heard it , I thought that Mike's vocal is not good as i thought lolz , but when I heard the song fully , I recognize that his voice did make the song become more emotional . That's great .. If I had one more choice , I'd choose "The Little Things Give You Away" . The idea for the song , the inspiration is good . The guitar solo of Brad is , too . I even think that the guitar solo in this song is better than the one in "In Pieces" . Thanks guys . Finally I chose "Leave Out All The Rest " as I 've heard it hundreds time
I love In Pieces. It was the first song were I went, "This is bloody class". I like Given Up, Shadow Of The Day too.
i voted for TLTYGA as the best song on the album becuase i should have read the title of the thread, i thought it was vote for the best song. I should have clicked on Bleed It Out, in my opinion its the best on the album at the moment, that will no doubt change by tomorrow.
At the moment my fav song is 'Leave Out All The Rest' Really nice song. Also, i'm loving it becuase it gave my mum a complete shock. Her words.. 'That's not Linkin Park! They're usually going 'BLAHGHAHAHAH!!!'
Fucking this. I listened to it on the bus this morning actually. It's definitely one of the better songs LP has put out. On another note, I can't believe that there wasn't one post saying "all the songs suck" or "I want nu metal", etc. considering this was made in 2007. You guys must have had a big troll hammer in this era
Weird. I listened to it last night and was thinking the same thing. The band sounds so damn tight on that song.
